Having grown up as a Boy Scout in an underprivileged community, Ruremesha Hugues-Hardy, learned from a young age to serve others. At the age of 9, he wanted to live with street children, but his mother, a teacher, encouraged him to continue his studies, assuring him he would eventually find a way to help them.
After graduating from high school at 21, Hardy founded Spring Communities, a non-profit organization that empowers young people to drive social change. He is committed to achieving an ideal where every young person is an agent of change in their community.
With over 60% of the population under 25 and high unemployment rates, Hardy saw an opportunity to equip youth with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to build a better future.
