Since 2013, Spring Communities has been working to improve the quality of education in Burundi by supporting teachers, students, and communities. Through innovative tools, curricula, and partnerships with the Ministry of Education, we are transforming learning environments and empowering the next generation.
How We Work
Creating learning spaces & education tools
We design and implement innovative tools like Comic Books and the OASP orientation tool, which inspire creativity, critical thinking, and self-determination among students. These resources help learners explore their talents and aspirations while strengthening their academic and personal growth.
Improving access to quality education
From school canteens to libraries and computer labs, we provide the resources and infrastructure that reduce absenteeism and give students the best chance to succeed. By making schools more inclusive and supportive, we ensure that every child has an equal opportunity to learn and thrive.
Training of teachers
We empower teachers with innovative methods and practical skills to improve the quality of teaching in classrooms. At the same time, we renovate and equip schools to create safe, inspiring learning environments where children can excel.
School Rehabilitation
At Spring Communities, we believe that a healthy learning environment is the foundation of quality education. By improving school infrastructure, we are not only supporting better health but also ensuring that children can learn with dignity and confidence.
